National Sustainability Challenge 2026

“Inspiring Innovation. Rewarding Creativity. Raising Transformative Leaders”

A nationwide programme inviting teams of two secondary-school students to identify a real sustainability problem in their school or local community and develop a practical, evidence-based solution.

Two Students Per Team

Exactly two currently enrolled secondary school students from the same Nigerian school (JSS1 to SS3).

One Teacher / School Mentor

Supported by a designated faculty mentor who serves as the official communication contact.

Inclusive Innovation & Evidence

Phase 1 rewards local problem understanding, evidence, and creativity. No expensive prototype or lab equipment needed.

The 100-Point Scorecard (8 Review Criteria)

Every submission is evaluated independently by our accredited review panel. Minimum recommended advancement score to the Semi-Finals is 70 points.
